Why staircases require precise fitting
Staircases can be one of the most challenging areas of a home to carpet properly. With multiple steps, narrow edges, corners and changes in direction, achieving a neat, secure and professional finish requires specialist skills, accurate measurements and careful attention to detail.
With our expertise in stair carpet fitting, we’ll ensure your staircase is fitted to a high standard, with attention to detail, creating a beautiful and attractive feature to your home.
Why taking accurate measurements is vital
Accurate measuring is essential when fitting stair carpets. Each staircase has its own dimensions, and even small measurement errors can result in a number of issues including:
- Loose carpets and wrinkles
- Uneven edges and poorly cut carpet
- Incorrectly fitted underlay creating bumps
- Premature carpet wear
- Carpet pulling away from the steps due to inadequate fixing
We’ll make sure your stair carpets are fitted and installed perfectly
